About Mr. G

After graduating from Oregon State University with a Business degree, I worked for 10 years in sales/marketing and management before becoming a Stay-at-home Dad to my twin boys.  I spent several years volunteering at their school before being asked to become the schools Math Instructional Assistant.  I spent 3 years in this role while completing my Masters program.  I graduated from George Fox University in May 2016 with my MAT.

I have over 10 years experience coaching kids of all ages, coaching everything from Kinder soccer to High school basketball.  I believe that sports offer children the opportunity to learn and practice life skills like teamwork, sportsmanship and unselfishness.  Sports also help kids to learn that hard work and determination can be very rewarding.

When I'm not teaching or coaching, I enjoy spending time with my kids, attending sporting events and car shows, and of course drinking coffee.  :-)
