Hopkins Fun Run! Friday, September 27th

The Hopkins Fun Run is the biggest fundraiser organized by our Parent Teacher Advisory Committee (PTAC).  It’s a fun event that enables students to take a proactive role in making their school a better place. It also allows businesses and friends in the community to be visible supporters of our children and their education.  All money raised goes towards field trips, education materials, technology, educational assemblies and many other great things. Together, we all succeed. Pledge envelopes are due back September 26th.

3rd grade - 8:30-9:00

4th grade - 9:10-9:40

5th grade - 9:50-10:20

1st grade - 11:50-12:20

2nd grade - 12:30-1:00

Kinder & PreK - 1:10-1:40


Back to School Information

Class lists will be posted on the front doors of Hopkins at 4:00 p.m. on August 23rd and will remain posted until September 3rd.

Supply Night is August 29th, 4:00-6:00 pm, open house style.  Bring your supplies, meet  your teacher and classmates before the school year officially begins.  If you ordered supply boxes at the end of last year, those supplies will be in the classroom ready for your child on the 29th.



Kindergarten Ramp-Up information was sent out via US Mail, with student orientation day information.  You can find reminder information here.  If you have questions, or your student is unable to make their assigned orientation, please call the office at 503-825-5200.

Sherwood School District Summer Hours

Hopkins Elementary office closes on Wednesday, June 19 at 12:00 pm, and will reopen on Monday, August 12.


The District Office summer hours are:  Monday - Thursday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. On Friday by appointment.


While our school offices are closed during the summer, please deliver completed enrollment forms to the District Office, located at 23295 SW Main Street.  Forms are available online or can be picked up at the District Office.


Hopkins Elementary 12th Annual Relay Recess

Hopkins students, staff, and families will head to the track during the day on Friday, June 7th, to raise money for the American Cancer Society and celebrate healthy living!  Students will spend two hours out on the track in the morning or afternoon walking, running, and participating in some fun games and activities.  Everyone is welcome to join us for this special day!  Informational flyer here.

Hopkins 44th Annual Hoop De Do Carnival

Save the date!  Hopkins is having our 44th annual Hoop De Do Carnival on Friday, April 26th, 4:30 to 8:30pm.  Carnival games and prizes, a raffle table, silent auction, and a memorable night await you!  There will also be food options, snacks and treats for an additional cost.  We can't wait to see you there!
